Bethesda jumping into the VR bandwagon with Bethesda VR

Bethesda VRVirtual Reality seems to be all the rage these days, and Bethesda is aware of it. During their E3 conference, the company announced that both Doom and Fallout 4 will be available to play with a VR headset at E3. While Doom is being used as a tech demo, Fallout 4 will be playable at Bethesda’s booth on the E3 show floor. This is part of their new platform Bethesda VR.

Sony is also releasing it’s own VR platform with Playstation VR, which will most likely be a big focus of their E3 conference. Ubisoft is also working on a Star Trek VR game. Is VR going to make video games more immersive? Or will it be a gimmick just like motion controls? Only time will tell.

Bethesda also announced that Fallout 4 will be available exclusively for the HTC Vive in 2017.
