Aaron Linde, the lead writer of Gearbox’s latest online team based first person shooter has announced his departure from the studio. Aaron Linde joined Gearbox in late 2013 and was involved with Middle-earth:Shadows of Mordor before writing Battleborn.
While Battleborn released against the juggernaut title by Blizzard, Overwatch, the game failed to sell as intended and even this week, finds itself falling from 20th to 29th in the UK game charts. The game also received a price drop last week, less than a month after its release. Despite that, Aaron says “Absolutely love this team and am incredibly proud of the work we did together.”
Gonna be hauling back up to the pacific northwest in a week or so for an awesome opportunity I'll talk more about soon. Ch-ch-changes ~
