Earlier this month, DC Comics’ upcoming superhero showdown, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had been pushed forward in its release date schedule. Initially set for July of this year, it was delayed until May 2016. This month it had shifted again, except in the other direction. Expect to see the movie in March 2016 instead.
The primary reason for this is related to Marvel’s movie schedule, with Captain America: Civil War slated for a May 2016 release. With a hectic release schedule for movies from both comic publishers, DC had to make a switch, but it’s good news for Batman and Superman fans.
Suicide Squad could potentially be another reason for the shift in dates, with an August release date penned for that movie. Below, we have a list of upcoming movies for 2016, thanks to Newsarama.com.
