BAFTA winners of 2016

bafta awardsLast night, the 2016 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) took place, which saw The Revenant and its stars take home a few awards. Here are a list of all the winners during the night.To some, The Revenant may have been overrated or too boring and long to enjoy, but it took home the best film award, along with Leonardo DiCaprio winning best actor for it. Will he go on to win an Oscar, finally? The movie’s director, Alejandro G Iñárritu also won best director, clinching the third award for one of 2016’s biggest movies, and it only came out in January.

Star Wars The Force Awakens hero Finn, played by John Boyega won the public voted EE award for Rising Star.
