Assassin’s Creed movie finishes filming, it’s “something special”

assassin's creed movieFilming of the upcoming feature film of Assassin’s Creed has finished this weekend, and Michael Fassbender who stars in the movie says “I think we’ve got something special”, so that’s somewhat optimistic, isn’t it? The film will now enter the post production phase before its penciled in release date of December 2016.Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Fassbender said of the movie “It was great. It was a huge learning experience,” he said. “To be a producer on it as well was very educational. I think we’ve got something special. I think we’ve done something original in this genre.”

It may be some time before we see a special effects fueled trailer, but we can wait. Not too much is known about the movie, although the Assassins and Abstergo will feature, the latter being lead by Jeremy Irons as their boss.

Directed by Justin Kurzel and starring Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons and Brendan Gleeson, Assassin’s Creed hits US cinemas on December 21st, 2016 and the UK December 26th, 2016.

Will it be a high note on the video game movie adaptions, or another below par entry to match the majority?
