Assassin’s Creed fans take note! The Korean ratings board has leaked some information you’re going to want to hear. Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection has been leaked and while we’re yet to hear anything in terms of an official announcement from publishers Ubisoft, a leak directly from the ratings board is a pretty sure bet for an up-coming announcement.
The Ezio story itself covers some of the earlier and arguably the best titles in the Assassin’s Creed series so far, Assassin’s Creed 2, Botherhood and Revelations all of which were released on the previous generation of consoles. So with that in mind it’s highly likely that we could be looking at re-mastered versions of these games, and given that the leak specifies that these games are being bundled together for Xbox One and PS4 we should expect some form of visual or audio improvements… Shouldn’t we?
So far in the 3 years the Xbox One and PS4 have been around we’ve seen plenty of games re-mastered for the new generation and a lot of them have been quite popular among long-term fans and new players alike. And while I’m not a fan of the Assassin’s Creed series OR re-mastered past generation titles, I feel like a re-mastered version of previous Assassin’s Creed titles will sit well among the series’ fan-base.
However when it comes to rumors and leaks we always encourage fans to remain as reserved as possible, while the Korean ratings board is a pretty stong source we will never truly know what plans Ubisoft have until they make an official announcement.
