Later today, Ark Survival Evolved on the Xbox One will be receiving a graphical update. The game has been in Game Preview since late last year, with an official release penned for a similar time this year. Still, updates continue to roll out and as well as a fresh coat of paint, developer Wildcard Studios is teasing a new content reveal over the weekend during PAX West.
As well as a graphical update, the Xbox One version will be getting Primitive+ servers. Primitive+ was first developed as a mod for the Steam version of the game. “Primitive Plus enhances the gameplay of primitive servers by adding new game mechanics and over 100 custom primitive items and their Engrams. Players are challenged to use primarily wood and stone without the benefit of advanced metals. The items and mechanics focus the players on ‘primitive’ survival,” reads the game’s Wiki page. A trailer for it can be seen below.
I'm happy to say this week's Xbox update includes full 720p 3D rendering, & 1080p UI! Thursday gonna be crazy, sleep'll be but a memory 😀

During the weekend of PAX West, Studio Wildcard will have a “brontosaurus-sized reveal” to share with fans. No details have been shared other than a screenshot which looks like a massive dinosaur jaw, with some light emanating from the background. Your guess is as good as ours.
