Two new games are to be added to Xbox Game Preview, the consoles early access program allowing players to play games before the end of development. The program only has a couple of games so far including the space combat sim Elite Dangerous. During the Gamescom 2015 even two new games were revealed to be entering Xbox Game Preview, Ark: Survival Evolved and We Happy Few.
Ark Survival: Evolved is already out on Steam Early Access and has been received quite well. The game is basically an online survival game with dinosaurs were players forage, hunt, grow and scavange to survive. You can even tame a dino if you so wish!
We Happy Few is a game by the same studio that made Contrast and the Kickstarter has wrapped up with great success (although there is still a way to back the game if you wish). Set in a dystopian English city during the 60s, this is another type of survival game with permadeath where you try and fit in to a drugged up world run by a dictatorship that has banned sadness.
So don’t be a downer and check out the trailers for both games below.
Both games will hit the Xbox Game Preview Program on Xbox One later this year, with full releases coming in 2016.
