Angry Birds movie now showing in UK and Ireland

the angry birds movieIf like me you have never played an Angry Birds game out of spite, don’t stop reading just yet. Having kept up with the trailers for this movie for article purposes, I have to admit that this looks rather fun. The Angry Birds Movie has launched in the west of Europe this week, and will be making its way to the US next week.

The Angry Birds Movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds which some of you may recognise. In this paradise, Red, a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck, and the volatile Bomb have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.

A few of the trailers I have seen so far include a few jokes that adults would certainly chuckle at, as well as humorous scenes that kids will surely enjoy. It looks like a fun day out, and animated movies like this can bring you back to watching them again and again, which may be the case with this one. So what do you say? You fancy giving it a chance?
