Amazon Battlefield 1 Collector’s Edition features no game

battlefield 1 coverAmazon’s Battlefield 1 Collector’s Edition is now available to pre-order, and while costing you $130 or your regional equivalent, it fails to include the actual game, which is just a bit odd.

The bundle includes a 14 inch statue which many will surely want, but you can’t play with it, and it doesn’t replace the excitement you will feel by playing Battlefield 1. It also includes an exclusive steel book, a poster, playing cards, and other tidbits, but again, no disc or digital download. It does feature an exclusive DLC code for something that’s most likely cosmetic, but it’s no season pass.

However, I stumbled upon this listing by Amazon for $210 which is the same bundle, with the game.

Here’s a list of what this $129.99 Collector’s Edition does actually include:

  • Collector’s Edition statue (14″ Tall)
  • Exclusive steel book
  • Exclusive cloth poster
  • Deck of playing cards
  • Messenger pigeon tube with exclusive DLC content
  • Exclusive patch
  • Premium packaging

If you want the collection, just be willing to buy the game separately ahead of launch, or pre-load it on whatever platform you prefer.

Battlefield 1 releases on October 18th, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
